Princess Beatrice has named her firstborn daughter Sienna Elizabeth. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi announced their baby daughter is called Sienna Elizabeth. The name is a touching tribute to Beatrice’s beloved grandmother, the Queen, and Edo’s Italian heritage as Sienna is an Italian name. Princess Beatrice, 32, and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi announced, Edo said he ‘feels so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie’
Meanwhile, the official royal family page also shared the post, adding the couple said Wolfie was ‘the best big brother’
Princess Beatrice gave birth to Sienna on September 18th. The new baby was born on a Saturday night at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, weighing 6lb 2oz.
Beatrice’s daughter is the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild and is 11th in line to the throne behind her mother.
Congratulations to the happy couple and the whole family on the public announcement of the name.
In a breaking of Royal tradition, the couple released an image of the baby’s FOOTPRINTS rather than a traditional photo.
